Healthy 3 Ingredient Pancakes

The easiest, healthiest, tastiest recipe for pancakes ever! These gluten-free, banana pancakes can be done anywhere at anytime. This recipe is one of my go-to weekend breakfasts with an adequate source of protein, carbs, and potassium! Enjoy!

Healthy 3 Ingredient Pancakes

Prep Time: 3 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes


- 1 Egg

- 1 Medium Banana

- 1 to 2 tablespoons Oats (For thick consistency)

Optional (Suggested):

- Dash of Cinnamon

- 1/4 cup blueberries or dark chocolate chips

- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder, for fluffier pancakes

- 1/8 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 tablespoon honey

- 1 teaspoon chia seeds


Heat 1-2 tsp. coconut oil or vegetable oil in a pan on medium to high heat.

In a small bowl, mash together banana and egg, adding in oats for consistency.

(Optional) Add in cinnamon, vanilla, salt and other optional delicious add ons. Lastly, add in blueberries or dark chocolate chips. Mix.

Cook pancakes for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until brownish, golden color. While these pancakes are incredibly simple flipping them is tricky so opt for smaller sized pancakes and use a thin spatula!

Plate. Add some almond butter as a topping and enjoy!
